Mission

As a Technical Lead your mission will be to:

• Design, formalize and implement technical solutions for our projects related to the Fund Operations (Fund Admin, Transfer Agent, …)
• Provide technical expertise, coaching and design skills. Providing guidance and support for approved, initiated projects to develop detailed designs based on solution architecture, current standards and architecture best practices
• Collaborating closely with the members of the Funds Solutions team, as well as with the Architecture team and development teams
• Understand, adapt and contribute to innovation of target architectures
• Proactively introduce and endorse good practices related to the projects’ technology stack

Experience

• Experience working in an agile context (ideally within the SCRUM framework) as well as knowledge of low-code development platforms are considered a plus (e.g Mendix)
• Minimum of 5 years’ design and implementation experience in IT and a strong experience of software development
• Good funds administration knowledge is a plus

Skills

• Strong database modelling skills
• Strong experience in PL/SQL Programming language
• Experience in a major Object-Oriented Programming language
• Experience in the Multifonds GA or GI platform is recommended
• Demonstrable proficiency in modelling languages (e.g. UML)
• Excellent interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation and negotiations, with strong leadership skills
• Excellent analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (in both French and English)
• Excellent planning and organisational skills
• Ability to work with developers on-site and in an outsourced environment
• Ability to understand the long-term (“big picture”) and short-term perspectives of situations
